Laying Your Hands On A Used Toyota Vitz

The Toyota Vitz has been one of the manufacturer’s most popular subcompact cars.  If you want one of these economic vehicles, the best thing to do is to find used car dealers that can lay their hands on one of these models.  Your best bet is to use a Japanese car exporter that is experienced in finding these types of vehicles as they have the best resources to locate the car of your choice.

To find used car dealers that deal with exports requires some research on your part.  You can start by using the Internet as there are many exporters listing the vehicles they already have available on their lots for you to purchase.  The advantage of buying a used Toyota Vitz right off the lot is that you will get your vehicle quicker and you will be able to see the car from the pictures on the site.  Of course, they may not have the Vitz with the options you want or in the color you prefer, but the price will definitely be within your price range.  Just make sure the exporter you use is reliable and legitimate before you even make inquiries.

The Toyota Vitz is also known as the Toyota Yaris and the Toyota Echo, depending on the market it was sold in.  It was first produced in 1999 and was available in a three or five door hatchback model.  The only version of the Vitz sold in North America was the Echo Hatchback in Canada and it was available there until 2005.  In 2006 it was offered in the United States as well as Canada under the name Yaris for the sedan or Yaris Hatchback.

The name Vitz is only known in the Japanese marketplace, so if you are using a Japanese exporter to find your car you will need to make sure that you refer to it this way.  The most current version of the Vitz that was released in Japan is similar to the Toyota Belta, another model produced only for the Japanese market.  Both share the same drive train and frame options.  Some used car dealers may be able to import the Vitz in from Canada as they were sold there for years before Toyota started to import them into the United States under the Yaris nameplate.  Importing your car using an exporter in Japan will help save you money, especially when it concerns the taxes on the vehicles.
